It's become my annual tradition to attend and share about Coinfest Asia!

This is my third year (supposedly) kicking off the first panel of the festival with Central Bank of Indonesia, Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi BAPPEBTI , Kementerian Perdagangan RI (The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency), and CFX Indonesia. Each year brings a unique experience, but this time, I’ve truly realized how fortunate I am to have gained incredible mentors, friends, and colleagues who always support me in doing tech advocacy!

Coinfest Asia was a huge success! 

It was my first time attending what was advertised as the largest web3 festival in Asia and the event didn’t disappoint. 

It was great to see the island giving off awesome crypto vibes and attracting likeminded businesses and individuals from all over the world. 

Representing OnchainLabs, I managed to create a whole bunch of exciting new connections and also reinforced existing partnerships and contacts.

Main insights after 2 smashing days at Coinfest Asia 

1. Certainly less memecoins among sponsors and attendees. Is it a peculiarity of APAC?

2. CEXes started to promote their web3 wallets, instead of just “hey, go and use our exchange”.

3. Infra gets ready for Tagar#RWA, but it takes time. Now is the best opportunity window to bring assets on the chain.

4. APAC is a certainly growing region. An emerging market that surges rapidly. Should be considered.

5. Venue is a must. People don't listen to panels, they wanna hang out. Kudos to the Fest team, they did it well.

6. Keep seeing my buddies all over the world. Those are genuine builders Im supporting forever. Quality over quantity - is a key.

7. We are in the best market, at the best possible time.
